1st Apostolic Church of Yellowknife 8/12/2008 |
|
Praise the Lord!!
I write to you from the 1st Apostolic Church of Yellowknife. I am currently staying at Pastor and Sister Woodruff's home. They are such wonderful people. I am amazed at the dedication they have to bring the gospel to this town. They have only been here for two years. They are running 12-15 people in service. Yellowknife is the most northerly city in Canada and also the capital of the N.W.T. The city has roughly 20,000 people and lies at the end of the roa...[more]

Newfoundland Update: Corner Brook 7/2/2008 |
|
[photo gallery]
As you can see, and as you have heard, every church in Newfoundland that Brother Hughey ministered at was greatly blessed. Results of these meetings are phenomenal and eternity will tell us the complete result.
We haven't given you the report of Corner Brook until now..The crowds at Corner Brook were far above our expectations! I would think that they had upwards of 50 people in some services. Sunday night they baptized
3 in JESUS NAME...[more]

Newfoundland: Hughey/Bushnell/Mean/Pollard update 6/24/2008 |
|
THIS IS THE DAY THAT THE LORD HATH MADE!
We are so thrilled by the evangelism effort of Brother Hughey and all of our churches! I am totally amazed and so thankful for the great number of visitors that came out to our churches, these past two months. This week Brother Hughey will be in Corner Brook. Please, Please make this a real effort of prayer! He shall be at our church (SB), July 5th and 6th, on his way home from Newfoundland. We had him...[more]

email from Sister Hynes...
Br. Hughey was such a blessing to us. His messages touched us all and
I don't think we will be forgetting them any time soon. He did manage
to draw in 12 new visitors and one for sure is coming again tonight to
our midweek Bible study. My mother is picking up her and her son. We
are excited about that. The Bible does say "here a little there a
little". That was no understatement!!
Our new saint,...[more]

Brother Coon struck pay-dirt when he decided to sponsor Brother Billy Hughey in Newfoundland. So far everyplace that he has been has given me RAVE reviews! The only thing that they are disappointed in is that he was not able to stay longer.
When Brother Hughey was at Trinity the principal of the school in town, made an announcement over their PA system and invited all students and staff to come to The church in Trinity that Brother Munn pastors.

Several years ago Brother Cunningham /Home Missions and the South Bend church bought a building from the city (Town Hall) of Trinity. This is the building that the Munn's live in presently. They have a nice church building very close to their home.
Brother Billy Hughey is presently in St. Johns with Brother and Sister Hynes. The building in St. Johns is an older Anglican Church. The outward appearance is very sharp. Much of it has bee remodel...[more]

Newfoundland Continued Revival 5/20/2008 |
|
Newfoundland Friends,
Praise Reports continue with the Revival in Newfoundland. Brother Gee is elated with the revival in Central Newfoundland. At his church in Bishop Falls the outreach church in Peterview, the outreach church in Phillips Head, and the two house meetings on the Indian Reservation (South Coast of Newfoundland) have enjoyed phenomenal services, with a host of visitors. Brother Gee thinks that God created Brother Hughey for Newfoundland. He will be starting this w...[more]

Very Exciting times in Newfoundland. 5/16/2008 |
|
The service at Peterview had a full house! Brother Gee and the church at Bishop Falls are elated about the last three outreach services with Brother Hughey. Peterview averages about 70 in their services. Phillipshead (a brand new outreach), had about 25 in that service, with some brand new people in attendance. Two House meetings at the Indian Reservation (south coast of Newfoundland) had approximately 25 in attendance at each house. Brother Gee is hoping...[more]

( The beautiful Island of Newfoundland)
Brother Hughey has left Baie Verte. While he was there, every service had many visitors. We are also very thankful for the visitors that came from other chuches. Brother Regular and the saints from Woodstock attended every service. Middle Arm had a very nice size group of around 18-20 people visiting the Guy's @ Baie Verte. Thank you Brother and Sister Christophersen! You that have been to the Baie Verte...[more]

Bro coon,
I just wanted to drop a line and thank your for all that has been done for us in Jarrell, Texas. Our church in a day was built on February 29th and it is beautiful, and the most beautiful thing about it is that Jesus is there. Since Easter we have had 2 receive the holy ghost and both have been baptized in Jesus name. Last Sunday morning we had 51 in service with 14 of them being visitors. The fields are truly ripe and we thank god and for all the support that we...[more]
